Celebrating 50 Years of Harmony in 2009! We are a vibrant organization of women of all ages, recognized for world-class singing in the barbershop style and promoting bonds of friendship.

Four-part, unaccompanied, close-harmony singing, with melody in the second voice, called the "lead". Tenor (counter-tenor voice) harmonizes above the lead singer; bass sings the lowest harmonizing notes, and the baritone provides in-between notes to form consonant, pleasing chords. Barbershop is a "melting pot" product of African-American musical devices, European hymn-singing culture, and an American tradition of recreational music. Melodies are in the vocal and skill range of the average singer, with lyrical emphasis on simple, heartfelt emotions.

The Nashua Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society is the home of the Granite Statesmen Barbershop Chorus. The Chapter has been singing music in the Barbershop Style since 1955. We welcome men who love to sing, to learn more about the Barbershop style of music, and make 55 new friends each Wednesday night.

Synchronicity, based out of Nashua NH, belongs to Harmony, Inc. and is honored to have been crowned 2004 Quartet Champions of Harmony, Incorporated!

Showcase, an a cappella quartet, started singing together in March 2007. All are members of New England Voices in Harmony, Internationally ranked second place women's barbershop chorus in Southern New Hampshire. In November 2007, Showcase became the International Silver Medalist Quartet of Harmony, Inc., and retained their title for the second year in a row in 2008.

Foreign Exchange.....the name is a no-brainer since three nationalities are represented in this quartet. Liane and Amanda are Americans, Maria is Canadian and Nanda is Dutch.

2006 Harmony, Incorporated International Quartet Champions. Based in the North Shore of Massachusetts, members of Boston Accent include Cheryl Brusket (lead), Karen Rourke (bass), Ruth Berman (tenor) and Julie Jeffrey (baritone).

Escapade, an award-winning quartet formed in 2008, is comprised of four women who love to sing, entertain and compete! Deb, Debbie, Donna and Jen are all experienced singers in top-tier women's barbershop choruses who decided to bring their love of harmony to the world as a quartet.

Lead Matt Kopser, bass Jeff Evans, baritone Steve Tramack, and tenor Todd Richardson have been singing together for over eight years. Their love of barbershop harmony brings them together from Hollis, Nashua, and Laconia, NH. Each has sung in several quartets prior to joining forces and together they bring almost 80 years of quartet experience. In 2002 and 2005 Breakaway won the Granite and Pine Division contest. The quartet is a six time Northeastern District contest medalist, most recently winning the 2008 Silver Medal.

On Air is a quartet that sings in the barbershop style. We are members of the Northeastern District of the Barbershop Harmony Society and several of us are active with the Nashua Granite Statesmen Chorus. The quartet is happy to announce our fifth-place finish in the Northeastern District quartet contest in October, 2008.

We are a mixed harmony a cappella quartet from New Hampshire and Vermont. We provide high quality singing and entertainment. We have and will perform around the country and would like to perform for you.
