Jeanne Swanson, Bass
Jeanne lives in Nashua, NH, and works in Boston as an actuary with Liberty Mutual. Her two daughters, Samantha and Cassie, are both in college, so this is an exciting time for them all. Originally from Wisconsin, Jeanne grew up playing many musical instruments with her parents and three brothers, but she never knew how to sing properly. She is forever grateful to her daughter, Samantha, who wanted to join New England Voices in Harmony at only ten years old and got both of them involved in barbershop singing. Jeanne is also very involved in her church and owns her own Mary Kay business.
Jennifer Selby, Lead
A renaissance woman who recently discovered the world of barbershop harmony and a capella singing, Jennifer joined New England Voices in Harmony in March 2008. After spending over a decade as an instrumentalist and dancer, Jennifer finally rounded out her passion for music and the performing arts by wholeheartedly embracing the art and science of barbershop. A former educator turned sales manager for an educational publisher, Jennifer is an avid reader, outdoor recreationalist, and gourmand. She also enjoys theatre, gourmet cooking, traveling and music from across the globe.
Christina Tramack, Baritone
Christina comes from a long tradition of barbershoppers in the Tramack family. A fifth generation barbershopper on her father's side and third generation on her mother's, it is widely believed that her very first word was "overtones". Christina has been a member of New England Voices in Harmony for the past four years, and happens to be the youngest member of Cloud 9 as well as a recently accepted judge applicant in the Presentation category. She frequently sings outside of the barbershop world (gasp!) in school, and enjoys playing volleyball and basketball. Someday, Christina would love to travel to Australia.
Kate Steer, Tenor
Kate is a wife and mom. She attends swim meets, crew regattas, and generally tries to keep up with her two teenage daughters. She is a systems engineer who works for BAE Systems designing missile warning and laser jamming systems to protect Army helicopters from shoulder-fired missiles. Kate is an active member of First Church, UCC, in Nashua where she sings in two choirs (alto) and sits on the Prudential Committee. She is a baritone in New England Voices in Harmony and sits on the Board of Directors as the Executive Vice President. Kate loves to spend time with family and friends at her summer cottage in Gloucester.
